EXHIBITOR’S SAFETY RULES - REGULATIONS and INFORMATION   

  1. All operators of motor vehicles, including tractors, must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.  This requirement covers parades and all parts of the IPM site.
  2. Use of alcoholic beverages has restrictions.  Please be advised of them.
  3. Working equipment must at all times be attended.  Display/show areas must have a defined, tidy perimeter.
  4. Report all unsafe practices or conditions to an IPM 2014 committee member.  When necessary, further safety regulations may be issued during the IPM.
  5. No exhibits are to be moved without the permission or escort of an IPM 2014 committee member.
  6. Working displays will be provided with “show time” notice boards.
  7. Exhibitor description signage will be provided.
  8. Security will be provided from 6:00pm Friday, September 12 to 6:00pm Sunday September 21.
  9. Neither Ontario Plowmen’s Association, nor the 2014 International Plowing Match  can be held responsible for theft, damage or accidents.
  10. The 2014 IPM Inc. reserves the right to take action against any exhibitor not following the rules.
  11. No merchandising of any kind is allowed on the grounds of the Antiques and Historical Display without the express written consent of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association or 2014 International Plowing Match.
  12. All applications are subject to a selection routine.  Approval notice will be issued by Ontario Plowmen’s Association and/or 2014 International Plowing Match.
  13. Preference will be given to:
    - unique antiques
    - antiques with a strong connection to Simcoe County
  14. Please note:
    - The deadline for registering is Tuesday August 20, 2014
    - Exhibits must arrive by 4:00pm Monday, Sept 15 and remain on site for the duration of the match
    - Exhibitors are responsible for making arrangements for transporting of their exhibits.
    - Exhibitors must provide proof of $2,000,000 in liability insurance to complete registration as exhibitors.
    - Steam boilers must be licensed and certified.
    - No exhibitor vehicles are allowed on the show grounds during public hours: 8:30am-5pm.
    - No pets are allowed on the IPM grounds.
    - All exhibitors with working displays must have their fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
  15. Exhibitors will be provided with passes on the following basis:
    - Static display (non-working):         1 pass only in total per exhibitor
    - Small working exhibits                   1 pass only per day per exhibitor
    - Large working exhibits                    1 pass per day per operator
