IPM 2017 Beautification Contest
We are excited to be delivering a contest involving rural and urban buildings as well as landscape competitions with an end result of renewed beautification to our lovely Huron County. This competition will encourage pride in our farms, our villages and our towns along with the shores of the West Coast of Ontario in Huron County.
We have created a category for everyone to be involved — from building new structures or changing existing buildings and landscape to creating a new gate sign or updating flowerbeds. All improvements large or small will be considered as beautification. Let your imagination be your guide...creativity has no limits.
A small fee of $25 is requested at the time of submission of your entry form, along with a "before" picture. The deadline for photos of the completed project ("after" pictures) is June 30, 2017. Judging will take place after this date.
We will celebrate these accomplishments with a lovely IPM Beautification Awards Banquet to be held in August 31, 2017 at the Seaforth Arena. (Two tickets are included in your entry fee).
Winners - Early Registration Draw - Congratulations! Karen & Craig of Seaforth, Ontario, have won a $100 gift certificate from a garden centre in Huron County!

A special 4-H Category has been created within the IPM 2017 Beautification Competition strictly for Huron County 4-H members. 4-H members are encouraged to make a beautification display, it can be located at the end of a laneway or gate entrance, on your porch or in your front yard, the only requirement is that it must be visible from the road. The display should incorporate 4-H, IPM 2017, and recognize that it’s Canada’s 150th Anniversary.
To Enter the 4-H Category: Complete the IPM 2017 Beautification Competition 4-H Category Entry Form, attach a before and after photo and give the form and photos to your 4-H Leader. There is NO ENTRY FEE required for this category. Deadline for entries will be June 20, 2017.
This 4-H category is sponsored by Dodds Century Farms.
